Transit through Kazakhstan is authorized for travelers who meet the criteria required by their final destination, without the need for a visa.

If you are making a stopover in Kazakhstan en route to another country and passing through immigration to stay in a hotel to catch a flight the next day, you will need to follow the usual entry procedures and apply for a transit visa.
